OUR STAFF

Being the founding pastor of The Waters Church is one of the greatest joys of my life!  To see what God has done and the lives that have been impacted still brings tears to my eyes.  I love to point people to Jesus and lead them on a faith journey as we all learn to Love God, Love People and Love Life! I am so blessed to do life and ministry along side my wife Peggy who is the Creative Lead.  Our greatest joy is having our children Abby, Sophie, Nat and his wife Elisia all Loving God and serving in ministry.  I love spending time with family and especially love boating, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling!  I enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors and find so much peace in watching a sunset!!  

Since joining the team at The Waters about a decade ago, my wife Abby and I have absolutely loved making an investment in this community.  We have a heart to further the Gospel through missions and faithful service to the the church. Abby is a large part of the women's ministry that happens here and has developed a women's mentoring group called Becoming Her. We have been married for 25 years and have four beautiful daughters and one son in law. Both Abby and I grew up in MN and have lived here most of our lives.  We love being on the water!  Boating, Wake surfing, fishing, cruising, and just being at the cabin.  We also enjoy running out ATVs in the woods up north. In the winter I enjoy snowmobiling and snowboarding but my favorite is doing anything my family is up to.  

I have a heart to see people run at their best. I enjoy partnering with people and ministries to help them strategize on how to reach their dreams! Dan and I have been married for 20 years, and we love to spend time with our 4+1 kids. (That's 4 of our own and 1 amazing Daughter in Law!) I love all things outdoors, and can often be found on the water, in the woods, or even just taking a lap or two around the parking lot on a sunny day. 

I love coming alongside others as a support, helping to walk out a bigger goal than we could have accomplished alone. This is exactly what I get to do here at The Waters! I grew up in the small town of Long Prairie before moving to St. Cloud as a young adult. I have two amazing young men, Jeremiah and Zechariah, that I homeschooled through middle school before becoming a single mom. As they got older I felt a tug towards ministry, so I began leading worship at my church and attending Minnesota School of Ministry. After working at a couple of local churches, I started attending The Waters in 2019 where I met my amazing husband Brian! I had the privilege of joining The Waters team in 2022. I love summer. You will often find me going for a walk or riding a bike on a nice summer day. I also really enjoy music, singing and playing the guitar. 

My desire is to see people passionately pursue God through worship.  So much more than just music, worship encompasses our whole lives.  However, music is a passion and creativity is a priority on our team as we create a culture of passionate worshippers, leaders, writers, and other creatives to develop their God-given giftings. I grew up the oldest of 3 brothers and 1 sister, in Forest City, Iowa.  After studying Relational Communications at Twin Cities based Bethel University, I moved to Milaca, MN with my grandparents to date, and soon marry, the love of my life. Rachel and I now have three kids and live in the city of Sartell. I love reading, running, adventuring into nature, coffee, and making music in my free time.

I accepted Jesus into my life at the age of 16 and immediately felt the need to share with others. I wanted to see kids and youth come to know and experience Jesus in their life the same way He showed up in mine. My wife Ashley and I were married in 2012 and I joined The Waters team in 2016 first doing Graphics and Marketing, and then later joining the pastoral team. Ashley works as a nurse at the St. Cloud Hospital and we have 2 amazing kids (Harlow and Judah) who are super cute! I love to travel and adventure with my best friend Ashley. I also love watching, playing, coaching soccer; and even created a soccer league with friends called CMN Futsal.

I knew God was drawing me to youth ministry when I was in high school. I love the zeal of senior high students and want to see that passion used for serving Jesus. I grew up in Little Falls, MN, and am the oldest of four boys. I met my wife, Sarah,  in high school and have been dating ever since! We got married in 2017.  We spend our days chasing our son around and playing outside when the weather allows. When I'm not at home, I love playing hockey, soccer, and hitting the golf course when time allows. I also enjoy getting out on the boat to fish. In the fall, I love taking the dog out to find some pheasants. 

I came into a relationship with God when I was in high school, so I have since had a huge passion for youth students and helping them grow in their relationship with God! Middle school and high school are such formative years in an individual's life, and I love being able to  help them look to God in this season they are in! I grew up in and graduated from Sartell, so its fun to be back in the town where I was born and raised to now do ministry! Especially being able to be a youth pastor in the ministry I myself came to know Jesus. I enjoy doing really anything outdoors- hunting, fishing, mowing my lawn, anything that gets me outside. I also love playing and watching just about any sport!

I love to see kids grow in their relationship with God and understand the power of prayer. I love the energy that kids have and their child-like faith. I am married to my best friend Elisia, and we have a puppy named Cisco. I grew up in the church and have been in the Sartell area for most of my life. Elisia and I love to call Sartell home. In my free time I love to hunt, fish, and eat cactus bread at Pizza Ranch.

I have always had a huge passion for kids! I love their energy, curiosity, and authenticity towards Jesus and life as a whole! It brings me so much joy to help kids have "aha moments" as they begin to realize spiritual truths and what walking with God can mean for them. I grew up in a loving, busy home in Des Moines, Iowa with two younger brothers, a younger sister, and an ever-changing assortment of animals. In 2023, I graduated from North Central University and  moved to Sartell to join the team here at The Waters! I love to hang out with friends and family, read, travel, play and write music, and do anything creative. I am always down for any last-minute adventure and am a little bit obsessed with thrift shopping!

I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember! In October 2022 I  joined The Waters team, and one of my favorite parts of kids ministry is being able to watch the kids worship and praise God. Seeing something from our Bible stories click and hearing the kids repeat it back also brings joy to me (no pun intended!) I grew up in Faribault, MN, and went to college in Mankato, MN, eventually moving to the Sartell area in 2017. I have two kids, Carter and Hailey, who are both in high school. When I am not at church or working my other job as a counselor, I enjoy watching my kids play their sports, spending time with my family, going to the lake, and playing games. 

We love people and desire to "spur" seniors on to serve God, love people, and be of service to others. We enjoy watching them as they meet new friends at the monthly luncheons and grow in their faith.  I grew up in Ashland, WI and was called to be a pastor at age 14.  I attended North Central University in Minneapolis and it was there I met my beautiful wife, Mary.  In 1970 we began ministering in Walhalla, ND.  We also pastored in Park Rapids and Bemidji, MN, and have been in ministry more than 50 years.  We have two sons, Garrett who lives in Sartell (4 children) and Greg who lives in Wisconsin (1 daughter).  Our amazing grandchildren are such a blessing!  We moved to this area in 2019 to be closer to family.  In 2021 we joined the staff here at The Waters and we are so thankful to see how God is working in this ministry. People are our hobby!  We love being with family, playing games, and eating tacos!

Music was a huge part of my life growing up. I began playing drums for our family worship team when I was 8 years old. Ever since, I developed a love for all things music and tech. Seeing a service being executed well throughout areas of production is what I most enjoy about my job. I grew up in a small town in Iowa with 3 brothers and 1 sister. My family was heavily involved in church as my dad was a pastor. I attended Iowa State University where I felt the Lord calling me a different direction, and I ended up moving to Sartell. I joined staff at the Waters in 2019. I enjoy spending time with friends and writing music in my free time. One of my favorite things I've done has been traveling the country and producing shows for various different events.

I believe video is one of the most powerful ways to tell stories.  It's so cool to see how God has given us different mediums to give Him glory and worship Him. I've worked many professional productions, including for professional sports teams, but none are like working here at The Waters.  I grew up in St. Cloud and went to St. Cloud State University for Creative Media Production and a minor in Graphic Design.  I love writing and playing music. I play a few instruments, but my main one is guitar. I also run a video production business, Knight Productions, and do a lot of videos for the community and sports teams.

I have always enjoyed being able to help and assist people in practical ways to achieve a bigger goal. Organizing, strategizing, and planning things are all things that bring me great joy and are a large part of what I do. I grew up on a dairy farm in Paynesville, MN and after graduating high school attended YWAM (youth with a mission) in Hawaii. I joined the team here at The Waters in 2018. I met the love of my life, Tanner, we got married in 2020 and have a little one on the way! I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I'm a sucker for plants and love to get outside in the sun!

I have been an artist my entire life in different aspects, and I am able to use my creativity and skills to execute the visions of the various events that take place at The Waters.  I grew up in Mora, MN with my parents and two younger brothers.  I attended college at St. Cloud State University where I graduated with a degree in studio art in 2019 and joined the team here at The Waters in 2021.  I enjoy hanging out with family and friends. I love exploring new coffee shops, reading, thrifting, being creative, and taking photos!

I am honored to be a part of the Waters Kids Team. I perform a lot of behind the scenes work to help our Kids Ministry run smooth. My role here includes many tasks from emails, to registrations, setting up for events, reminders, updates, and more. I am wife and homeschooling mom of 2 children. I grew up across the river in Sauk Rapids and currently live in Rockville with my family. I previously worked as a X-Ray Tech before the crazy road of life led me here to The Waters Church. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, relaxing, laughing, and learning new fun skills.

I am surrounded by people who have the best, positive, hard work ethic and love generously.  It makes my job so much fun and I love being surrounded by them.  It is fun to be part of a family oriented work place. I have been married to my amazing, fun, loving husband Mitch for 17 years. We have a fur puppy named Simon that just turned 1 and his spunky self keeps us going.  I have worked for the Waters Church since May 2022. I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan! I would say we are die hard fans. I also love to read, boating in the summer time, and spending time with family and friends. 

I get fired up inside to get people discipled in their relationship with Jesus and in knowing the Word as well as helping them to get into a position to GO out and share it here, there, and everywhere. I'm thrilled to help our pastors get our church family plugged into serving on our Kingdom Builders Teams. I also get to serve our pastors as our church supports ministries outside our walls. I grew up in Sauk Centre playing many sports, went to college to be a social studies teacher, and then God led me into full time ministry.  I have lots of nieces and nephews I love to see when I can.  I enjoy traveling and coaching softball near and far, and I drink hot coffee even if its 100 degrees outside. 

I have a background in mechanical engineering which helps in the process of woodworking, creating, and fixing things that come up through the various events that happen here at The Waters. I enjoy being able to use those skills to help serve and assist those around me. I grew up on a farm in Kenyon, MN and moved to the area in 2006. After experiencing an aneurysm in 2011 that changed my life, I came to truly know the Lord in 2016. I live with my fabulous wife Amy and our 5 kids that make up our blended family.  I enjoy camping with my family, attending their sporting events, reading, having a good cup of coffee, and finding someone to pick on.

I love organization and logic which is why I'm a geeky numbers person.  I really enjoy inputting all the information and data.  I enjoy the checks and balances that maintain the integrity of the data. I grew up on a dairy farm in the little town of Pearl Lake, MN with 11 siblings.  I live in Sartell with my mini-poodle Ari who keeps me awake at night. I love traveling and I'm usually dreaming of my next trip.  I really enjoy spending time with my friends and I am usually dog sitting a dog or two at my house.
