A course on the principles of interpreting scripture. It summarizes the need for Hermeneutical principles, explores the qualifications, tools, and goals of a biblical interpreter.

BIB 214 Old Testament Survey

A practical approach to the Old Testament that gives you material to not only teach and preach better, but to also understand better! This class covers significant details from every book in the Old Testament.

Due to a shortened month with Christmas Break, we will not have a Berean class focus for this month. 

A course giving you the background for understanding, teaching, and applying principles of the New Testament. Key facts from each book of the New Testament are highlighted in a manner that can be used in preaching and teaching.

BIB 114 Christ in the Synoptic Gospels

An introductory study of Jesus' life and times according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. This class examines the historical setting, His message, and the miracles. This class will be organized around three themes (1) the world, (2) the man, and (3) the message-- this introduction helps to fuse our understanding of His life and work with our commitment to live by the values He taught and demonstrated.

THE 114 Introduction to Pentecostal Doctrine

An examination of the four cardinal doctrines of the Assemblies of God: salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing, and the second coming of Christ. After an introductory unit on the importance of doctrine, there is a unit of study on each of the doctrines.

A biblical, comprehensive, and strategic plan requires the empowerment of the spirit to produce spiritual fruit and a flourishing church. The strategic plan is based on Acts 2 and focuses on developing Spirit empowered disciples who will be involved in the five functions found there: connect, grow, serve, go, and worship.

Maybe this is one area you are not super comfortable in! Well during this last month we will all be growing together in how to write, prepare, and preach a message!

Note: Once your Pre-Application has been approved, you will receive an email with a sign-on instructions to a Moodle Account.  Moodle is a secure place in which you will acquire and upload all documents. Please note, the Application deadline is October 1st.

Note: All Credential Candidates are required to attend the Credentialing Seminar in February as indicated in the Credential Handbook.

Step 2: After Application is Approved, You Will Need the Following: DUE OCTOBER 1ST

Step 3: Exams & References: DUE NOVEMBER 1ST!

The exam(s) are to be taken under the supervision of a designated, approved proctor. Once we receive the proctor form in our office, the exam links will be emailed to the candidate and the proctor. Exams can also be taken on paper. Study guides are available in your Moodle Account. The exam(s) must be completed no later than November 1ST and will also be offered at North Central University between 8 am & 2 pm on Thursday and Friday, October 30th and 31st. Retake Exam Day will be Friday, November 14th, location to be determined.

Seminar and Interview
Applicants who have been approved will be notified of the time of their interview appointment. Spouses or fiancés are required to attend the seminar and interview.
