Coffee with the Girls

This will be an opportunity for Peggy to share from her heart and a time for some conversation, but also just a time for the girls to get together for coffee and treats.

Deception is a powerful, wicked, and subtle thing. And the Bible teaches us it will be rampant in the last days.

In Matthew 24:4 Jesus tells us to “Watch out that no one deceives you.”

The Greek word for “deceive” here in this verse is planaō… and it means…”to cause to stray, to lead astray, lead aside from the right way”.

This definition to me looks like Jesus is telling the disciples (and us) that in the end, many people who were once on the right path will stray off of it, whether on their own doing (elevated one’s opinions above God’s) or have been led astray (following false teaching).

Either way, it’s not good! And it’s a warning of the end… so today more than ever… it is so important to know the Word of God and what it really means! I’m so excited to dive into what deception looks like today and how to discern truth from culture’s lies in this year’s “Coffee With The Girls”.
